We are still wondering why they have made a change but the production turned out to be really fine.

5. Joyce character by Winona Ryder was modelled for Meryl Streep. The hair of Joyce character was compared to Meryl Streep’s character in Silkwood. Stranger Things happens in 1983 and so does the move.

6. Charlize Theron inspired Eleven’s look. Millie Bobby Brown first hesitated to shave her hair. According to Entertainment Weekly, the crew gave another actress as an example to convince her. Thankfully Mad Max: Fury Road was about to release and Brown was convinced with Charlize Theron’s images in a magazine.

7. Most of the best moments of Holly are improvisation. Holly character was actually played by twin sisters Anniston and Tinsley Price. Both girls were natural in front of the camera and Matt Duffer said in interviews that they improvised in the scenes. (The screenplay writers and producers Matt and Ross Duffer are twins.)

8. People couldn’t watch Shannon Purser (Barb) enough. Shannon Purser started acting with Barb character in Stranger Things. The masses did not get the chance to watch the character or the actor behind it.
