Bob Dylan as “Father” 26 Photos

Daddy Dylan. Actually only the three in the truck are his. Not sure who the boy is in front. David Zimmerman’s son maybe? My two favorite things about this pic are Jakob’s expression and the fact that Samuel is resting his hand on Dylan’s boot. So great

  1. RE: Truck photo

Is it possible “the kids in the truck” attributions are incorrect? From L-R Anna, Jesse and Sara’s daughter from her previous marriage, Maria? Not sure who is on the bumper, but could it be Sam?

  2. My biggest wish in childhood was that I’d become a famous singer. I’ve met famous people and it’s excruciating for them/me (?), I never could tell. NOW I thank God he gave me the voice of a cat being stuffed in a bag. There’s NO WAY IN HELL I could/would tolerate “celebrity”. Who in their right mind would chase that?

  3. What can I say except I dearly love Bob. He is the love
of my life. Celebrating his 80th birthday on May 24th will
be a big deal for me. I too will be 80 in December. My entire
guest room is my Dylan room, filled with anything you can think
    of related to Bob Dylan.
From the song LONESOME DAY BLUES
“Samantha Brown lived in my house for about four or five months
Don’t know how it looked to other people
I never slept with her even once”
It is my desire to be Samantha Brown and live with Dylan
    for four or five months.
    HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY BOB

  4. I am 69 years old. I have been a fan of yours since I was 16. You and the Beattles were the greatest in my book. But you were my favorite. Today I have really enjoyed looking at pictures of you and your lovely children and wife. I am so glad you were happy with a family. Myself I got divorced from abuse and I never found anyone else. I lived in a small town then. But your happiness is wonderful.
