Hello Dolly Parton fans here are some rare Dolly Parton Childhood photos from history and some informations about Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, in a one-room cabin on the banks of the Little Pigeon River in the small mountain town of Locust Ridge, Tennessee. She was the fourth of twelve children born to Robert Lee Parton, a tobacco farmer, and Avie Lee Parton.
Dolly’s family was very poor. The Parton family was, in her own words, “dirt poor.” They lived in a rustic, one-room cabin in a rural part of East Tennessee, and Parton’s parents struggled to make ends meet.
Despite the hardships, Parton’s mother nurtured her daughter’s musical talent. Parton has described how her mother, despite not having much formal education, was a wonderful singer who would entertain the family with songs and stories. Parton received her first guitar from a relative when she was just eight years old, and she began to compose her own songs shortly after.
Parton’s talent was evident from a young age. She began performing as a child, singing on local radio and television programs in East Tennessee. At the age of 13, she recorded her first single on a small Louisiana label.
After graduating from high school in 1964, Parton moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue her dreams of becoming a country singer. Her talent and determination led her to become one of the most successful singers in country music history, with a career that has spanned decades and includes hit songs like “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “9 to 5.”
