JANUARY 7, 1971 – Black Sabbath released “Paranoid” their second studio album in the US. First released in the UK on September 18, 1970, the LP’s US release was delayed as the Black Sabbath album was still on the charts at the time of its UK release. Paranoid reached #12 in the US in March 1971 with virtually no radio airplay.
