“Under the Dome” is an American science-fiction mystery drama television series that premiered on CBS on June 24, 2013. The show was developed by Brian K. Vaughan and based on Stephen King’s 2009 novel of the same name.
The plot of “Under the Dome” revolves around the residents of the fictional small town of Chester’s Mill in Maine. Without warning, a massive, transparent, indestructible dome suddenly traps the town, cutting off residents from the outside world. As the townspeople grapple with the post-apocalyptic conditions, they must also uncover the mystery of the dome – where it came from and if and when it will go away.
