Good news for Harry Potter lovers: Hogwarts Legacy 2 is coming

Good news for Hogwarts Legacy and Harry Potter fans. According to the latest information, a sequel that will take the series to new heights is reportedly in development.

Hogwarts Legacy, an action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and set in the Harry Potter universe in the late 1800s, was highly appreciated by players despite its shortcomings. New news claims that Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in development.
Hogwarts Legacy 2 in development

The Hogwarts Legacy 2 rumors come from the respected MyTimeToShineHello, who has an excellent track record of uncovering content related to the film industry. While this is the first time we’ve heard about the sequel, there is no information about the game itself. But given the immense popularity of the original Hogwarts Legacy, a sequel was indeed expected. The game became the best-selling game of this year, grossing 1.3 billion dollars.

However, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros Discovery, has previously made a statement about the company’s commitment to creating the “perfect” game, saying that they will not release a movie or game before its time. Hogwarts Legacy 2 will therefore be at least 3 to 4 years away, as is usually the case with AAA game development.

Meanwhile, the first game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. There’s also a Quidditch-themed game in development for PC and consoles.
