23 Facts About Leon Russell

1. Leon Russell was born Claude Russell Bridges in Lawton, Oklahoma, on April 2, 1942. He had a gift for music from the very beginning, learning to play the piano within just a few years, and by age 14 performing in Tulsa nightclubs.
