Brian Johnson is a British singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the iconic rock band AC/DC. He was born on October 5, 1947, in Dunston, Gateshead, England.
Brian Johnson joined AC/DC in 1980, replacing the band’s original lead vocalist, Bon Scott, who tragically passed away earlier that year. With Brian Johnson as their new frontman, AC/DC released the album “Back in Black,” which became one of the best-selling albums in rock history. The album’s title track, “Back in Black,” is now considered one of AC/DC’s signature songs.
