As I get older, I get smaller. I see other parts of the world I didn’t see before. Other points of view. Neil has been part and still is ,of my musical life since 1972 .I started doin’ cover of his songs before singing my own .The first time I saw him on stage was in Paris , on march ,26th 1976;I was really impressed and I couldn’t believe my eyes,12,000 fans silently listening to his voice backed up only by his acoustic guitar and his harmonica !! .Then I attended his concerts in Bordeaux (October ,3rd 1982),in Toulouse where I was honoured to shake his hand(May ,25th 1987),and in BIarritz(July ,18th 2013) .By hearing the first chords of a song ,one can recognize at once Neil’s touch .I’m a singer -songwriter from Madagascar and I wrote a song titled “Ramose Young” (Mister Young) in 2010.HIs bus driver inspired me to write it In malagasy Ramose refers to the school teacherThe words are both in english and malagasy( “You still have a long way to go ,fortunately the full moon is lighting your pace.Are you ready to climb on stage becasuse your little brothers are waiting for you “).I’m going to post it on my facebook page soon.
