Nipsey Hussle was born Ermias Asghedom on August 15, 1985 in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. His father, whose mother was of African descent, was an Eritrean immigrant to the United States.
For his high school education, Nipsey attended Los Angeles Alexander Hamilton High School, dropping out before graduating after being accused of breaking into the school’s computer lab.
