According to the statement made by Jesse Armstrong, one of the creators and writers of the series, the final decision was purely a creative choice. It was also possible for Succession to continue for two more seasons, or to shoot a short season with episodes with ups and downs, but they ultimately decided to end the series in its fourth season.
Succession, which started broadcasting in 2018, has received 48 Emmy nominations with its three seasons and turned 12 of them into awards.
We are waiting for March 26 for the fourth and final season of the series.
