“Ergo Proxy” is a cyberpunk suspense anime series produced by Manglobe, directed by Shūkō Murase, and written by Dai Satō. It originally aired in Japan from February to August 2006.
The story is set in a future where humans coexist with androids known as AutoReivs. The show takes place in a domed city called Romdeau, built to protect its citizens after a global ecological disaster thousands of years ago. In this society, humans and androids coexist, with the androids serving in various roles and professions.
