#19 Steve wrote Lights way before 1978. He wrote it as a commercial jingle for an LA morning show, but never did anything with it until Journey. Together with Neal, Steve rewrote the song, changing the words to “the Bay” instead of L.A. as a tribute to San Francisco. It was NEVER a tribute to L.A.
#25 LOL He never showed interest in cows or farming. His Grandfather worked on a dairy farm. He learned from his grandfather, but Steve had no interest in being a farmer or being in the farming business. He has even said this in interviews.
