JULY 5, 1992 – Helix guitarist PAUL HACKMAN (b. November 14, 1953 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada) died following a concert in Vancouver, Canada when the group’s van veered off and rolled down a 40-foot embankment. Hackman was asleep in a seat behind the driver and was thrown from the vehicle, then died while being taken to a hospital in the nearby city of Kamloops.
