According to Deadline, the story of the Titan submarine, which caused the death of 5 people during the Titanic voyage, will be brought to the big screen. Here is the first information.
A trip organized by the company OceanGate to the wreckage of the Titanic in June was on the agenda of the whole world when it ended in disaster. The submarine named “Titan” sent to the wreck exploded in the depths of the ocean and 5 people were buried.
Today, there has been a new development on this subject. According to the information obtained by Deadline, a company called MindRiot Entertainment has rolled up its sleeves for a movie inspired by the event.
The movie, about which there is not much information yet, will tell what happened in detail
The new project will be produced by E. Brian Dobbins, who is also behind The Blackening. Justin MacGregor and Jonathan Keasey from MindRiot will pen the script. Deadline reported that the movie will cover the entire event. In other words, we will see what happened before, during and after the trip.
Jonathan Keasey, one of the screenwriters, said that their project will honor the Titan submarine tragedy and the families of those who lost their lives, while also addressing concerns about the nature of today’s media. Keasey added the following: “The only thing that matters is the truth, and the world always has a right to know the truth.”
There is no information about the release date, cast and director of the movie for now. This is not MindRiot’s only project related to the event. In the middle of this month, the company announced that it is also developing a documentary series called “Salvaged” focusing on the OceanGate tragedy.
