Eyes of Wakanda animated series announced. The adventures of Marvel Comics’ famous character Black Panther continue.
Preparations are underway for the Eyes of Wakanda animated series. The production, which will air on Disney Plus, will go behind the scenes of Black Panther.
Following the highly anticipated announcement of season 2 of What If…?, Marvel Studios has revealed plans for an animated series on Disney+ called Eyes of Wakanda. This new series will explore the history of Black Panther’s ancestors and map the costume’s transition through the generations within the enigmatic confines of Wakanda.
Known as the most technologically advanced country in the world, Wakanda’s hidden existence has always intrigued outsiders, often unaware of the existence of its legendary protector. First portrayed on the big screen by the late Chadwick Boseman, the production will tell the story of the different individuals who have taken on the persona of the Black Panther over the centuries and unravel their intriguing stories.
Wakanda’s lasting legacy set to be revealed in ‘Eyes of Wakanda’
Eyes of Wakanda promises to depart from the modern settings of the MCU’s Black Panther stories and explore the essence of heroism in an era before the Avengers were aware of Wakanda’s existence.
While details on the voice cast have not been revealed, speculation about the actors’ potential appearances is emerging from live-action commentary. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has raised expectations for Shuri’s possible involvement, especially following her victory over Namor. Also, with the return of Riri Williams in the Ironheart series, hints of Wakanda may emerge.
No information has yet been shared about how many episodes the Eyes of Wakanda animated series will consist of or when it will be released.
