Battlestar Galactica Quotes: “Battlestar Galactica” is a science fiction television franchise that began in 1978 and was subsequently rebooted in the early 2000s. It is set in a distant star system, where a civilization of humans lives on a group of planets known as the Twelve Colonies. In the past, the Colonies were at war with a cybernetic race known as the Cylons.
