  1. Thank you for sharing the info on dear Doris Day. However, I question # 29. I was Doris Day’s personal secretary in the 1970s – worked with her at CBS in her dressing room for the last 2 years of her filming THE DORIS DAY SHOW at CBS in Studio City. I prepared several meals for her – she loved steaks and other meats. After the show ended, I lived with Doris in her Beverly Hills home for two more years and we went out to eat and I also cooked for her, but at that time, she was definitely NOT a vegetarian. If she changed in later years, I do not know. She loved going to the wonderful La Cienega restaurants, and also Musso Frank…my book is now in its 2nd printing:

Doris was and continues to be a wonderful role model for me and many other – God bless Doris Day!!!!
