Mouskouri: a crazy story. It was in Los Angeles in 1979 I had an appearance at the famous Greek Theatre, Leonard was there. Behind the stage he said me, Dylan will come by later, he wanted to meet me. God, I was excited. Bob actually appeared, he knew that I had some of his songs like ” Le Ciel Noir ” (” a hard rain’s a-gonna fall “) in the program and wanted to hear me sing. He even cancelled an interview to watch my show.

One day: how did he react to you?

Mouskouri: Bob visited me during the concert break in my clothes and was quite charming. He said I was his favorite song next to the famous Egyptian singer. I thought I was dreaming! We became friends, I visited him many times at his concerts.
