“The Sinner” is a television drama series that premiered on USA Network in 2017. The show is based on a novel of the same name by Petra Hammesfahr.
In the first season, the story revolves around a young mother, Cora Tannetti (played by Jessica Biel), who suddenly, and seemingly without motive, commits a violent act on a beach filled with people. Detective Ambrose is assigned to her case and seeks to uncover the buried past and psychological secrets that led to this shocking crime.
