A series of six distressed car doors inspired by the exploits of folkloric US criminals like Al Capone and John Dillinger. Each appears to be either riddled with bullets, or battered and reflecting the violence and deaths of these legendary criminals.

Shown alongside Bob Dylan Mood Swings – Iron Works, staged in November 2013 at Halcyon Gallery, London.

Each door was accompanied by a poster of photographs and news clippings for each gangster.
