OCTOBER 15, 1973 – The morning papers reported that Keith Richards and Anita Pallenburg were both found guilty of trafficking cannabis by a Court in Nice, France. They were also found guilty of possession of cannabis, heroin, and cocaine at their Nellcote villa and on their yaught “Mandrax” in 1972. The Rolling Stone was given a one-year suspended sentence and a 5,000 franc fine. He and Pallenberg were also banned from entering France for two years.
