How could Billy Joel not be on this list?
Meh. Very generic. And Poison by Alice Cooper is in twice. And Tenacious D’s Tribute really should be in. somewhere at least.
I totally don’t agree
I scrolled to see who was tops, and ofcourse it was the correct choice.
Since when was Simon and Garfunkel a rock band? And where is Nazareth, UFO, Zappa, The Tubes….?
No Teenage Fanclub? No Replacements? Missing a lot of good music on this list.
Since when is Eddie Van Halen (#47) a ‘rock band’? Try Van Halen…they certainly deserves an entry for sure. Seems that most of this list is ‘best video’ IMO.
So Elvis doesn’t even crack the top 10. Neil Young is number 5. No James Brown. No black artists to speak of. Because they weren’t “rock bands”? Neither was Elvis, or Eddie Van Halen.
Top 4 was pretty spot-on, though Elvis should have had a spot in there — at least top 5.
Must be a viewer’s poll.
Do Th Ramones really belong in the Top Ten? The revisionism starts now
Alice Cooper is on the list twice (#78 and #58)
who made up this bullshit list? couldn’t have been anyone who knows music.
