The 45th President of the USA Donald John Trump continued to make new decrees on his last days. The popular US President pardoned Kodak Black and Lil Wayne.
According to the information shared in the news of Hotnewhiphop.com, a Reuters reporter said, “Trump pardoned rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, who were on trial for federal gun crimes, as well as former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, who was sentenced to 28 years in prison on corruption charges.”
As some documents about this topic were shared online, this news was kind of confirmed.
Kodak Black who was arrested on May 2019 is still in the prison. The rapper will be released sooner than 11 November 2022 with Trump’s permission.
Another pardoned rapper, Lil Wayne, was convicted and sentenced in 2019 for possession of firearms and ammunition. With this decision, the 38-years-old rapper was pardoned for his crime.
