The show revolves around the character of Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a police officer from the year 2077 who, along with a group of terrorists, is transported back in time to 2012 during their attempt to escape execution. Once in the past, Kiera uses her advanced technology and training to work with the Vancouver Police Department to track down and stop the terrorists, known as Liber8, before they can change the course of history.
