SEPTEMBER 14, 2011 – It was reported that a Swedish Bob Dylan fan had been arrested for singing Bob Dylan songs outside his ex-girlfriend’s house in June. The love-sick man had also convinced a group of five other men to serve as vocal accompaniment for the late-night live performance, each of who donned hoodies with their hoods up. His ex-girlfriend was due to meet the man in court the next day, and had already taken out a restraining order against him. The woman also said he had threatened her current heartthrob, so soon after the man began to serenade her, she saw the hooded mob and called the police. “I thought I was doing something nice,” the man told police, “I had the idea that I’d play a Bob Dylan song for her.” There was no word on which song was chosen, but it’s safe to say that the lovelorn singer/musician was simply blowin’ in the wind.
