“Daybreak” is a post-apocalyptic comedy-drama TV series set in a world where a nuclear blast has turned adults into zombie-like creatures called “Ghoulies.” The story follows high school outcast Josh Wheeler as he navigates this chaotic and dangerous world to find his missing girlfriend, Sam. Along the way, he forms alliances with a diverse group of survivors, including a pyromaniac 12-year-old and a cheerleader, as they navigate the new societal structures formed after the apocalypse
