“GLOW” is a comedy-drama television series created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch. The show premiered on Netflix in June 2017 and ran for three seasons until August 2019. Inspired by the real-life 1980s professional wrestling promotion of the same name, GLOW stands for “Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.”
