Hello AC/DC fans we listed best AC/DC band facts for you
1- Let there be sock!
Malcolm Young’s notorious 1963 Gretsch Jet Firebird guitar was initially red, given to him by AC/DC’s initial maker Harry Vanda. The guitar had the neck and center pickups evacuated. Youthful later evacuated the red paint and, for some time, put his socks in the pickup pit to stop input. Gretsch produce a mark adaptation (envisioned below)… without the gaps or socks.
2. Angus Young is not a tulip farmer
One of rock’n’roll’s longest-running and most unusual urban myths is that Angus Young claims a tulip ranch in Holland. It’s an untruth.
“Sorry about that,” Angus says. “Each blossom I see, I concrete it.”
Be that as it may, Angus has a home in Holland. That much is valid.
3. AC/DC aren’t Australian, really
Siblings Malcolm and Angus Young were conceived in Glasgow, Scotland. The late Ronald “Bon” Scott was conceived in Kirriemuir, Scotland. Bassist Cliff Williams was conceived in Romford, England. Current vocalist Brian Johnson was conceived in Gateshead, England.
At any rate drummer Phil Rudd was conceived in Melbourne, Australia. He was conceived Phillip Hugh Norman Witschke Rudzevecuis.
4. Black! Rock! Hell!
Based on the setlist for AC/DC’s current tour, Brian Johnson will sing/screech the words “black”, “rock” and “hell” a combined 163 times in one single show.
5-. Angus Young: schoolboy?
Early AC/DC publicity info claimed Angus Young was born in 1959 – to help his ‘schoolboy’ image. He was actually born in 1955 – otherwise he would have been gigging with AC/DC aged 14. Angus Young was 18 when AC/DC released debut album High Voltage.
6. Pre-AC/DC Angus
Angus and Malcolm Young both play on Tales Of Old Granddaddy, by the Marcus Hook Roll Band. Not a recommended buy.
7. Costume drama
In the event that it is ludicrous that Angus Young is as yet dressing as a schoolboy matured 53, say thanks to yourself he didn’t continue with other stage outfits from right on time in AC/DC’s profession – Zorro, Spider-Man, a gorilla suit, or a custom “Superman” suit
(known as SuperAng).
8. Let there be roof!
Brian Johnson was in UK band Geordie, we know, but after they split – and before he got the gig with AC/DC – Johnson ran a vinyl car-roofing business in the north east of England.
9. Breast in show
Malcolm Young’s first job after leaving school was as a machine maintenance engineer for a bra company. Rock music saved him from a life of smutty jokes, obviously.
