Taboo Quotes: “Taboo” is a British TV drama series that premiered on BBC One in the United Kingdom and FX in the United States in 2017. The show was created by Steven Knight, Tom Hardy, and his father, Chips Hardy. Tom Hardy, who also stars in the series, plays the lead role of James Keziah Delaney.
The story is set in the early 19th century, during the War of 1812, and follows James Delaney, a mysterious and enigmatic man who returns to London after being presumed dead for years. He comes back to claim his inheritance, a valuable piece of land on the west coast of North America called Nootka Sound, left to him by his deceased father.
