September 13, 1963 – Graham Nash fell out of The Hollies van after a gig in Scotland.

He checked to see if the door was locked, it wasn’t and he fell out as it traveled at 40 mph. 36 years later to the day in 1999, the singer broke both legs in a boat accident off the coast of Hawaii.
